On Tuesday morning (19 May 2020) we published our latest report, Coronavirus and Poverty in Edinburgh, and had an opportunity to discuss our research on BBC Radio Scotland’s flagship programme, Good Morning Scotland.
Edinburgh Poverty Commission Member and co-author of the report, Zoe Ferguson, spoke to presenter, Laura Maxwell.
In the interview, Zoe emphasised that, although the Coronavirus crisis has created individual and collective trauma for the city, this pandemic should be viewed an opportunity for a just transition to take place as we look to redesign and rebuild a fairer economy.
